13.04.02_01Power Stations and Substations

The program trains power engineers for design, operation and modernization of electrical installations at power plants and substations. Students gain in-depth knowledge of power generation, transmission and distribution equipment, including power transformers, switchgear, relay protection and automation systems. Special focus is given to digital substations, smart grids and modern methods of electrical equipment diagnostics. The program combines fundamental theoretical training with practical work on training stands and real power facilities.
